Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park

Johnson City, is centrally located in the Texas Hill Country, 48 miles west of
Austin, 60 miles north of San Antonio, 30 miles east of Fredericksburg and 25 miles south of
Marble Falls and the Highland Lakes.

While in Johnson City, stay overnight or spend a few days visiting our historic area, shopping for antiques, or enjoying our parks. Johnson City has a motel, uniquely decorated bed and breakfast cottages, and attractive RV parks. Enjoy fine dining, down-home cooking, famous Texas BBQ, Mexican food, or grab a quick bite at one of our food establishments.
